Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Patent Agent to join their team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering, with a strong track record in drafting patents within the Software industry. The role involves supporting lawyers in patent prosecution matters, including analyzing invention disclosures, conducting patent searches, drafting patent applications, and preparing office action responses. The Patent Agent will also collaborate with lawyers on patent litigation, due diligence, and other legal activities. Key responsibilities include managing U.S. and foreign patent prosecution dockets, conducting interviews with USPTO examiners, and staying informed on intellectual property legal developments.
