Description
Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking a Career Associate to join their Antitrust practice group in one of their US offices. This non-partnership track position requires a basic understanding of antitrust fundamentals, particularly the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Improvements Act and premerger compliance processes. The successful candidate will advise on antitrust filings for mergers and acquisitions, interpret HSR reportability, guide clients through premerger transactions, and respond to inquiries from antitrust agencies. Staying updated on changes in antitrust laws and regulations is also essential. While experience in HSR notification compliance and representing clients in merger clearance matters is preferred, candidates with experience in similar complex regulatory regimes are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, strong organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to apply and explain complex regulatory regimes.
