Description

Our client, a leading group in Energy & Climate Solutions, is seeking a junior energy regulatory lawyer to join their team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in FERC and other energy regulatory matters, particularly those related to independent power companies developing, transacting, and financing clean energy electric generation projects and grid-edge technologies. The role requires a deep understanding of the Federal Power Act, particularly aspects relevant to independent power producers. Familiarity with RTO/ISO stakeholder processes, ERCOT Nodal Protocols, and state-level regulation and advocacy would be valued. The candidate must have excellent writing and research skills, superior academic credentials, and FERC and/or law firm experience.
