Description
Our client, a leading intellectual property firm, is seeking a Trademark and Copyright Associate to join their team on the East Coast, with potential locations including Boston, Washington DC, or New York. The successful candidate will work with nationally ranked attorneys to protect brands across various industries, providing strategic counsel to clients on prosecution, enforcement, litigation, licensing, and advertising. Applicants should have 1-3 years of U.S. and foreign trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution experience, including reviewing clearance searches and preparing substantive responses to PTO office actions. Experience in copyright law, an active state bar membership, compliance with CLE requirements, superior writing skills, and excellent academic credentials are also required. The role demands strong analytical skills for conducting complex legal matter analysis and effective communication with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.
