Description
Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a junior to midlevel attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join their expanding antitrust practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Department of Justice Antitrust Division or the Federal Trade Commission, or on related antitrust matters. Valuable experience includes handling civil conduct or merger and joint venture analysis and investigations, litigating antitrust matters, drafting substantive motions and briefs, and participating in depositions and witness prep and interviews. Experience in the telecommunications and internet space is a plus. The role involves defending companies in civil conduct investigations, obtaining clearance for or opposing large and complex mergers and acquisitions, litigating Section 1, Section 2, and Section 7 cases, and providing general antitrust compliance counseling. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, persuasive writing abilities, and a willingness to work as part of a high-performing team. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in DC is required.
