Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join their Energy and Infrastructure group in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate should hold a Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and have at least two years of experience in representing clients in debt financings in the energy or infrastructure sector. Key responsibilities include conducting legal research, due diligence on financing, merger and acquisition or project documents, coordinating with internal teams for timely delivery of state-certified closing deliverables, drafting debt financing documents, and maintaining and updating checklists for financings. Familiarity with the U.S. Federal Government’s Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) loan program is a plus. The candidate must be admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia. Telecommuting may be permissible in line with company policies.
