CORPORATE ATTORNEY (0833)

Description

Our client is seeking a corporate lawyer with a strong focus on Chinese businesses. The role involves providing legal analysis and advice, representing clients in corporate and business transactional projects including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance. The successful candidate will also represent clients in venture capital investments, advise on deal structure and internal restructurings, lead legal due diligence, prepare capitalization tables, negotiate terms sheets, draft and negotiate transaction documents, and lead transaction closing workstreams. The position requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time and allows for remote work. The ideal candidate must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited U.S. law school or equivalent, be eligible for a New York attorney license in good standing, and have at least 3 years of experience as a corporate lawyer with a focus on Chinese, U.S., and international clients in domestic and cross-border transactions.
