Description
Our client is seeking a midlevel associate to join their Commercial Disputes practice in a vibrant San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in general commercial litigation within California's state and federal courts. Essential skills include conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery processes. While prior deposition experience is not mandatory, candidates should have a desire and aptitude for taking and defending depositions, along with some experience in hearings and client interactions. A J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar are required. Preferred qualifications include clerkship or journal experience. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with seasoned lawyers, providing mentorship and increasing responsibility. Candidates should be self-motivated, capable of independent and team work, and committed to delivering high-quality client service. Strong academic credentials, communication skills, work ethic, and research and writing abilities are essential.
