Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Response Attorney with strong cybersecurity experience to lead a team specializing in rapid response to data breaches and significant cyber incidents. This fully remote position is open to national candidates. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of legal experience, including 3+ years in data privacy and security, with a focus on data breach and incident response. Strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, GDPR, etc.) is required, and an IT or technical background is a plus. Key responsibilities include leading incident response efforts, analyzing privacy laws, drafting legal notices, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy and security policies.
