Description
Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm, is seeking a Defense Litigation Attorney to join their team in Jackson. The successful candidate will have a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted to practice in Mississippi, and have 6+ years of defense litigation experience. Preferred areas of expertise include insurance defense, general liability, trucking and transportation, and complex litigation. The role involves independently managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end, collaborating with other attorneys and partners on legal projects, handling court appearances and depositions, and maintaining regular communication with clients. Superior communication, writing, and research skills are essential, and legal project management experience is beneficial.
