Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their Federal Energy Regulatory team within the Energy practice group in their Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate should have prior experience with a range of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) matters and a strong academic record. The role involves advising entities on regulatory issues associated with mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, and extensive interaction with a spectrum of clients including electric utilities, independent power producers, power marketers, industrial customers, private equity firms, and other entities. Candidates should have regulatory or judicial litigation experience and impressive writing and communication abilities, demonstrating professionalism, self-motivation, and a detail-oriented approach.
