Our client, a global law firm, is seeking an Associate based in Houston, TX to join their Energy & Natural Resources Practice Group. The role requires a Juris Doctor, LLM, or equivalent, and three years of experience in representing clients in energy transactions, specifically in the acquisition of oil and gas facilities. The candidate should have experience in advising on complex real estate transactions, drafting key transaction documents, working on structured wholesale and retail power and gas transactions, reviewing complex commercial and energy transaction documents, managing complex cross-border energy-related transactions, and preparing comments on draft forms of agreements for construction, equipment supply, service, and maintenance. The candidate must be admitted to practice law in the state of Texas. Telecommuting may be permissible according to company policies.
