Description

Our client is seeking an experienced attorney to join their esteemed Environmental Law practice group as a non-partnership track Senior Attorney in either Washington, DC or Richmond, VA. The role involves a billable hour expectation of 1200 – 1800 hours and requires at least ten years of experience in private practice, a trade association, or a government agency. Candidates should have expertise in chemical control regulation under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), and similar regulatory programs. Responsibilities include advising on chemical substance testing and reporting under TSCA, pesticide registration and advertising under FIFRA, and handling agency rulemaking and enforcement defense. A scientific or engineering degree and experience in the chemical or pesticide industry are preferred, with additional preference for those with experience at the US Environmental Protection Agency.
