Description
Our client, a renowned Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an associate to join their private investment funds practice. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the formation of closed-end private investment funds, including venture capital, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds, as well as regulatory compliance for investment advisers to closed-end private investment funds. The role emphasizes collaboration and requires approximately 60% office presence. Qualifications include a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school, admission or eligibility for admission in New York or Massachusetts, and at least four years of experience advising institutional investors and fund managers on private investment funds and regulatory compliance matters. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, professionalism in client and colleague interactions, and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and stay organized.
