Description
Our client, a top-ranked law firm, is seeking a 2nd – 4th year associate to join their Corporate Advisory/Fund Formation practice area in either their NY or DC offices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with private equity sponsors and investors in connection with the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds, as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. Candidates must have 2-4 years of fund formation experience at a law firm, excellent written/verbal communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple assignments. Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. A J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the New York or DC bar is required.
