Description
Our client, a leading global law firm with offices across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel - Employment Law. The successful candidate will report to the General Counsel and can be based in any of the firm's US offices, provided they live within a reasonable commuting distance. The role involves providing legal advice to firm leadership on all aspects of employment law, advising HR professionals on best practices for legally compliant talent management, managing investigations regarding employee concerns, and coordinating with HR professionals to implement corrective action. The candidate will also engage with outside counsel regarding employment claims, review and prepare separation agreements, and draft employment policies. The role requires a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, a JD, bar membership, and at least eight years of relevant experience.
