Description
Our client, a global firm, is in search of a mid level associate to join their Global Trade practice. The candidate should have previous expertise advising clients on a variety of U.S. regulatory matters pertaining to international trade, such as exports of restricted goods and services, and transactions involving individuals, entities, and nations that have been sanctioned. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling clients regarding the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and economic sanctions managed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), preferably in the technology, life sciences, and private equity industries. In addition, the ideal applicant would be knowledgeable about the rules enforced by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States as well as cross-border investments.
