Description
Our client is seeking a highly experienced immigration attorney to join their pro bono team, based in New York, with responsibilities extending to managing the pro bono immigration practice in both the Washington, DC, and New York offices. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and communication skills, substantive legal expertise, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This role involves collaborating with the Pro Bono Counsel and Pro Bono Committee Co-Chairs to foster a culture of pro bono work, ensuring the success of the U.S. immigration practice, and integrating it into the overall pro bono efforts. The attorney will maintain and develop relationships with nonprofit partners in the New York and DMV areas, identify opportunities for attorney involvement, and support community service initiatives. The position requires in-person work during regular business hours from Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility for additional days as needed.
