Description
Our client, a top-tier law firm recognized nationally for its Intellectual Property Practice, is seeking a patent-bar qualified associate to join their team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar fields, and 2 to 4 years of experience in patent litigation. Responsibilities include handling all aspects of patent litigation, independently researching and analyzing complex technical issues, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and providing IP subject matter expertise for corporate deals. The associate will work closely with experienced IP attorneys who will provide mentoring and opportunities for growth. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science, a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school, and excellent academic performance.
