Description
Our client is seeking a Corporate Associate to join their Investment Services team, with options to be based in Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a diverse and multidisciplinary environment, closely collaborating with shareholders and engaging in client-facing activities. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience with registered investment companies and investment advisers, specifically with regulatory and compliance matters related to federal securities laws such as the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933. Applicants should be capable of playing a leading role in transactions, particularly investment company reorganizations or mergers, and managing multiple matters simultaneously. Candidates must hold a J.D. degree, possess strong academic credentials, and be admitted or seeking admission in the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, New York, or District of Columbia).
