Description
Our client, a reputable law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time, partnership-track associate to join their Intellectual Property practice. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years' experience in an IP and technology practice, with a focus on drafting and negotiating IP and technology contracts, and preparation and prosecution of patent applications in computer science, AI, fintech, and related technologies. A patent registration number or eligibility to take the patent bar is required, and patent prosecution experience is preferred. The candidate should be hard-working, detail-oriented, and demonstrate leadership and initiative. They should also be eager to learn new technologies and the associated legal issues.
