LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE (0213)

Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a motivated associate with 3-5 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join their nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group. This opportunity is available in three major cities across the country. The ideal candidate will have experience with wage and hour class action litigation, single plaintiff employment litigation, and employment-related counseling. Essential skills include strong legal writing, discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings. Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts, participation in settlement conferences and negotiations is preferred. The firm values candidates who are team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional work ethic, and have demonstrated client relationship and business development skills. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing in their jurisdiction(s) of practice. Timely admission to the state Bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment.
