LITIGATION AND CLAIMS MANAGEMENT ATTORNEY (0944)

Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation and Claims Management Attorney to represent a large international logistics and transportation client in all aspects of litigation and certain general counseling issues. The ideal candidate would be based in Chicago, but those with relevant experience residing in other cities or working remotely will also be considered. This opportunity is perfect for experienced lawyers with litigation and/or claims management experience who are looking to grow in their careers and be a part of a national client services team. Qualifications include a JD from an ABA accredited law school, admission to practice in the State of Illinois (other states admissions will also be considered), 10+ years of general casualty, commercial, or other litigation experience. Transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory experience, experience managing a local, regional and/or national liability claims program, client counseling experience, eDiscovery experience, superior analytical skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and legal project management experience are preferred but not required. Responsibilities include independently supervising and managing a national portfolio of litigation matters, working on cases from beginning to end, management of national claims program, and working closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects.
