Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is seeking an Associate for their M&A and Energy Transactional Department based in Richmond. This firm is renowned for its M&A capabilities and has been recognized as a leader in the industry by various benchmarking league tables and legal publications. The firm's M&A team represents buyers and sellers in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other major transactions across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Rim. They handle transformative and strategically significant deals for public and private companies in every sector of the economy. The ideal candidate will have 3 - 7 years of law firm experience in corporate transactions, with significant experience in M&A. Experience in the energy industry is also desirable.
