Description
Our client is seeking a smart, imaginative, and hard-working Patent Agent to join their Intellectual Property practice in Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering or Physics and at least 3 years of experience, preferably in patent prosecution at a law firm. Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO, analyzing scientific documents, preparing detailed patent drafts, managing patent prosecution dockets, and staying updated on intellectual property legal developments. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics and be admitted to practice before the USPTO.
