Description
Our client, a prominent global law firm, is seeking a Patent Agent to join their Intellectual Property (IP) team. Preferred location is Atlanta, with consideration for D.C., New York, Chicago, Austin, Houston, Charlotte, Miami, or Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in prosecuting patent applications in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a strong preference for additional expertise in chemistry or biochemistry. Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, assisting in Patent Office proceedings, conducting patentability assessments, and supporting patent diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Successful candidates will be forward-thinking, detail-oriented, and possess strong patent database search skills.
