Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm based in New York, is seeking an associate with at least 2 years of experience in M&A and asset management to join their team supporting one of the world's largest global asset managers. The role involves a blend of responsibilities typical of both law firm associates and in-house counsel, including providing legal advice and support to the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Strategy groups. The successful candidate will assist with transactions, fund-related matters, governance, and general legal support, working closely with investment professionals, in-house counsel, and general counsels of platform companies. Applicants must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted in good standing to the New York bar. Experience in advising asset management firms is preferred.
