Description
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding corporate practice, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join their fund formation and investment management team, based in either Miami or Chicago. The team primarily assists private equity, venture capital, and hedge fund managers in forming and structuring their respective GP and management company entities, as well as the investment funds and other alternative investment vehicles they manage. They also represent investors in side letter negotiations and advise on various investment opportunities. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 6 years of experience in a large law firm setting, with some experience in fund formation and investment adviser work. They should be able to take on responsibility, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong academic history and excellent communication skills.
