Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate (Lawyer) specializing in Asset Management (Private Funds). The role involves advising clients on the formation, marketing, and management of various private investment funds, both domestic and international. These include private equity buyout funds, venture capital funds, special situations funds, debt funds, secondary funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds of funds. The candidate will represent private fund sponsors in the U.S. across a broad spectrum of corporate matters such as structuring, operations, governance, succession planning, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role includes representing registered advisers in SEC reporting, compliance matters, and regulatory investigations, as well as advising institutional investors on fund investments and secondary market activities. Applicants must hold a Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Law (LLM), or foreign equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant law firm experience.
