PROJECT FINANCE ASSOCIATE (2689)
Description
Our client is seeking an associate attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join their Projects and Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility-scale power and infrastructure projects, cash equity investment structures, and M&A transactions, as well as experience in debt and tax equity financings, including bank debt and tax equity investments. Expertise in sponsor-side project finance work across energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors, including construction and term debt, HoldCo financings, tax equity investments, and large project portfolio transactions, is preferred. The role requires the ability to draft and markup complex legal documents such as purchase agreements, equity capital contribution agreements, joint venture operating agreements, and loan agreements. A deep understanding of highly structured, financial model-driven investment transactions, limited and non-recourse project financings, and the power sector industry, particularly renewables, is essential.
