PROJECT FINANCE ASSOCIATE (3562)
Description
Our client is seeking a senior associate to join their dynamic Financial Services Practice. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in project finance, including "plain vanilla" project financings, tax equity bridge loans, backleverage financings, and pre-NTP financings. Experience on both lender and borrower sides is preferred. The role requires extensive experience in drafting and negotiating credit facilities, letters of credit, and performance and payment bonds. Candidates should be adept at conducting bankability analysis of project documents and negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, as well as various supply agreements and offtake and tolling agreements. The ability to independently negotiate and manage associated security documents, NY-law legal opinions, and direct agreements is essential. Strong academic credentials and experience in a large regional, national, or international law firm are preferred.
