Description
Our client is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of public finance experience to join their Finance Practice Group in Chicago, Detroit, Houston, or Milwaukee. The firm has a robust public finance practice, particularly in Healthcare Finance, Economic Development, Housing, TIF and Special Assessment, Infrastructure, and Education. The ideal candidate will have mid-level bond counsel, lender’s counsel, and disclosure counsel experience, with significant exposure to tax, securities, uniform commercial code, and contract law applicable to public finance. Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and matter management skills are required, along with effective communication abilities and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure. A JD from an ABA-approved law school and active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction are mandatory.
