REAL ESTATE FINANCE ASSOCIATE (1121)
Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an associate to join their Real Estate team, based in either Chicago or Miami. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse, multidisciplinary practice, closely collaborating with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of commercial real estate law experience, including documenting and closing commercial real estate transactions (acquisition, disposition, and financing), and experience with office, retail, and industrial leasing. Development/ground leasing experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment. A J.D. degree (or its equivalent) with strong academic credentials is required, and candidates should be admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, Illinois or Florida.
