Our client, a prominent global law firm, is seeking a tax associate with a keen interest in renewable energy and the energy transition to join their project finance group. This position involves collaborating with senior associates and partners to support project developers, lenders, and investors in areas such as solar, wind, geothermal, battery storage, carbon capture, renewable natural gas, green hydrogen, and electric transmission projects. The role offers exposure to innovative developments in federal tax law and the opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience as a tax lawyer, familiarity with renewable energy incentives, and strong academic credentials, with an LLM in taxation preferred.
