Description
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join their renowned Technology Transactions and Sourcing (TTS) practice group. The role can be based in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., or Chicago. The TTS team handles complex deals related to the development, deployment, licensing, use, and disposition of technology and intellectual property. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in complex technology and intellectual property deals, including software licensing, cloud services agreements, and global IT transactions. Experience in conducting IP due diligence in M&A, private equity, and other corporate and financial transactions is also required. Candidates should be self-starters with excellent analytical, writing, and project management skills, the ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices, and current law firm experience. Superior academic credentials from a top-tier law school, including relevant coursework in business, technology, and intellectual property law subjects, are essential.
