Description
Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is seeking a midlevel Asset Management and Investment Funds associate to join their team, preferably in their Boston office. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience with open-end (mutual) funds, closed-end funds and/or exchange traded funds (ETFs). They should also have experience representing investment companies, investment advisers, and board members on matters arising under U.S. federal securities law, particularly the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and their related rules and regulations. Candidates with experience in one or more of these areas, and a desire to work with a team of experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility on a variety of matters are highly desired. Experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house experience at an asset manager is strongly preferred.
