Description
Our client is seeking a Business Restructuring Associate with 3-4 years of experience for their dynamic team based in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases and distressed situations. Responsibilities include supporting clients in complex corporate restructuring transactions, representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings, conducting in-depth legal analyses, drafting legal documents, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, and staying current on legal developments. Candidates must have a strong understanding of bankruptcy laws, creditor rights, and restructuring strategies, exceptional drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Illinois or eligibility for quick admission is required.
