Description
Our client is seeking an Associate to join their Business & Securities Litigation Department based in Houston. The successful candidate will be part of a team that assists a wide range of companies, including financial institutions, public companies, and closely-held corporations, in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. The team has extensive experience in defending clients in high-stakes litigation, representing officers and directors as individual defendants, and advising clients on risk mitigation and compliance with state and federal laws. The role also involves coordinating with the e-discovery team to manage complex litigation and working with the white-collar defense team when criminal proceedings run parallel to civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience or experience as a federal judicial clerk, along with excellent academic credentials.
