Description

Our client is seeking a Patent Attorney with two to four years of experience to join their Intellectual Property and Technology practice in Washington DC. The role involves engaging in sophisticated patent prosecution and technical analysis work related to computer hardware, software, telecommunications, electrical, electromechanical, and automotive technologies. Key responsibilities include drafting, filing, and prosecuting US patent applications, managing international patent strategies, and preparing patentability, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions. Candidates must hold a U.S. Juris Doctorate Degree and be admitted to the District of Columbia Bar or be eligible for admission. An undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have strong legal writing and communication skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
