Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm with offices in Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC, is seeking a midlevel to senior associate to join their Corporate – Fund Formation practice group. The ideal candidate must have 5-7 years of extensive experience in the formation and administration of private investment funds and a strong background in corporate law, preferably gained at a reputable law firm. Experience with the Securities and Exchange Commission and proficiency in the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and other federal securities laws are advantageous. Candidates should be skilled in advising both emerging and established fund managers on structuring, market practices, regulatory compliance, and other facets of private investment fund formation. Applicants must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, with submission of law school transcripts, demonstrate excellent academic and professional credentials, and maintain active membership in their respective state bar association.
