Description
Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is seeking a mid-level to senior associate to join their Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice Group. The role can be based in either Washington, DC, New York City, or Silicon Valley, with potential for other US locations under certain circumstances. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing executive incentive plans and agreements, employment, separation, and change in control agreements, and advising companies on related disclosure obligations. The candidate will also counsel clients on executive compensation matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions. A solid background in Code Sections 280G and 409A, as well as experience drafting CD&As and compensation-related proxy proposals, is required. Candidates must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Bar in the United States.
