Description
Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking an associate for their Labor & Employment Department based in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of relevant experience and must hold a Juris Doctorate (JD). They should be licensed to practice law in the State of California and have experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and reasonable accommodation. Strong research and writing skills are essential, along with experience in drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The candidate should also have experience in employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations. This role operates in a clerical, office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
