Description
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm with a focus on Environment, Land Use, and Natural Resources, is seeking an Environmental Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with major businesses in the fisheries, forest products, mining, oil & gas, and renewable energy industries. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with agency officials and industry associations, and working on long-term projects with established clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in matters involving state and federal cleanup of contaminated sites, with a focus on Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and state analogs. The attorney will support clients in their everyday environmental law-related needs, including compliance, cleanup work, responding to government information requests, investigations and enforcement actions, and citizen suit/toxic tort defense.
