Description
Our client, a reputable law firm based in New York, is seeking an associate with three to five years of experience to join their Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits group. The ideal candidate will have experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters in connection with corporate transactions and financial restructurings, as well as the securities aspects of executive compensation, including public company disclosure. The candidate should be future-focused, dedicated to excellence, diversity-minded, collaborative, and service-oriented. Stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience are preferred. The role involves advising public and private companies, private equity and funds clients, executives, and lenders and creditors on a full range of matters relating to compensation and benefit plans and arrangements, including issues arising in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy and restructuring, corporate governance, and securities and tax compliance.
