Our client is seeking a junior Energy Associate to join their esteemed Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental practice group. This role is ideal for attorneys with 2-4 years of experience in energy law, focusing on regulatory compliance and renewable energy transactions. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Washington D.C. or California, or be eligible for prompt admission. The position requires expertise in renewable energy projects, regional transmission organizations, and regulatory compliance, with natural gas pipeline experience being advantageous. Familiarity with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong research, writing, and communication skills, and a commitment to staying informed on energy sector trends.
