Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with expertise in structured, corporate, and project finance. The successful candidate will provide legal guidance to global clients, negotiate and draft complex transactional documents for cross-border financing transactions, and advise on jurisdiction elements affecting transactions for Latin American companies. The role also involves analyzing current legal events and trends to prepare client alerts and draft articles on important legal developments. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in legal counseling, including drafting and negotiating legal agreements, advising on regulatory matters, and representing clients in international financial transactions. Experience with cross-border project finance, banking and finance, capital markets, and corporate transactions under US and foreign law is also required. The job location is New York, NY.
