Description
Our client, a full-service, international law firm, is seeking a Financial Institutions Associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in banking and financial institutions regulatory matters and/or securities law, including M&A. The ideal candidate should have experience in federal securities law, securities offerings, and the ability to counsel clients on the requirements of federal securities law and/or bank regulatory laws. Key skills include supporting other attorneys on a variety of deals, drafting SEC reports and M&A transaction documents, and familiarity with corporate governance principles for public companies and the banking industry. Superior academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills are required. The position is located in Washington, D.C., and preference will be given to candidates with DC bar credentials.
