Description
Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate with 1-4 years of experience to join their Financial Restructuring Group in New York City. The ideal candidate should have broad experience in both out-of-court and in-court restructurings. Practice experience should encompass matters such as drafting plans, disclosure statements, plan support agreements, involvement in 363 sales, analysis, and drafting of intercreditor and subordination agreements, participation in claw back actions litigation, and analysis of leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses. In addition to a thorough understanding of the Bankruptcy Code, the candidate should have a solid grasp of Article 9 secured transactions. Candidates applying should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, excellent research skills, and excel at written and verbal communication.
