Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Finance Associate to join their Global Transportation team. This opportunity is available in multiple locations including Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, or Miami. The successful candidate will join a cohesive and collaborative team, working closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities. The firm's Global Transportation Finance Group has been consistently ranked as a top-tier practice, with a team of over 60 lawyers representing major banks, leasing companies, airlines, hedge funds, private equity firms, and other investors in complex international and domestic transactions. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm, with expertise in areas such as securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, or aviation. Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously are required. Candidates must hold a J.D. degree (or its equivalent), have strong academic credentials, and be admitted to practice law.
