Description
Our client, a well-respected law firm, is seeking a litigation associate to join their Government Investigations & White Collar Defense team based in Chicago. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and participate in business development, client-facing, and government-facing activities. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in civil, government investigations, and/or white collar criminal defense. Exposure to complex civil litigation and white-collar criminal matters, including SEC enforcement matters, internal investigations, False Claims Act matters, and/or Foreign Corrupt Practices Act defense is highly desirable. Strong research and brief writing skills are essential, along with a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials. Candidates should be admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, Illinois.
